Dietary food for adult cats that dissolves struvite stones and reduces their recurrence. It encourages water intake and protects the bladder.
A complete and balanced dietetic food for adult cats, designed to dissolve struvite stones and reduce their recurrence in cases of feline lower urinary tract disease. It has urine subsaturation or meta-stabilisation properties with regard to struvite and acidifies the urine. It has a higher content of sodium and chlorides (which stimulate water intake and urine volume, thereby protecting against the formation of crystals and stones), DL-methionine (a urinary acidifier), chondroitin sulphate and glucosamine (which support the mucopolysaccharide layer, a protective barrier of the bladder wall), cranberry (reduces the adhesion of microorganisms to the urinary epithelium), lutein (a natural antioxidant) and FOS and MOS (improve stool consistency and stimulate intestinal microflora and immunity).
Dehydrated poultry protein, rice, poultry fat, maize gluten, dried apple pulp, maize starch, rice protein, fish oil, yeasts, hydrolysed chicken liver, minerals, dehydrated whole egg, dried cranberries (0.5 %), inulin (source of FOS) 0.2 per cent, hydrolysed yeast cell wall (source of MOS) 0.2 per cent, dried marigold (source of lutein) 10 per cent, methylsulfonylmethane 0.03 per cent, glucosamine from animal tissues (0.03 per cent), chondroitin sulphate 0.02 per cent. Nutritional additives per kg: vitamin A (3a672a) 20,000 IU, vitamin D3 (3a671) 1,750 IU, vitamin E (3a700) 700 mg, vitamin C (3a312) 400 mg; trace elements: iron (3b103) 75 mg, iodine (3b201) 3.50 mg, copper (3b405) 10 mg, manganese (3b503) 7.50 mg, zinc (3b603) 120 mg, selenium (3b801) 10% (2 mg); provitamins: taurine (3a370) 2,400 mg/kg; amino acids: DL-methionine (3c301) (urinary acidifier) 2,500 mg.
